On our last week of November, we decided to put our two groups together to have the kids share and show what they already learned since September.
First we started with a song dedicated to... the rain that generously blessed our afternoon;
then we played word games with their books and binders, where kids had to write the longest words they knew, or as many words as they could remember;
and finally, they read with Maestro Lobo a story translated from Dr. Seuss's works, which of course they already knew and had fun discovering in Spanish.
And that was it, may you and your child have a happy Thanksgiving;
see you back in December !

Miércoles 13 de noviembre
Due to the absence of one half of the students, we focused on reviewing notions from last weeks, and then drew a human figure to start learning body parts.
Those new words were used instantly in sentences created by the kids, like: "Yo tengo dos ojos verdes."
We ended the class joining Maestro Lobo's group for a Spanish bingo.
Hasta miércoles!

Miércoles o6 de noviembre
Today we reviewed all the sight-words we've learned so far, and the kids were happy to check by themselves how much they already knew. We also added 6 more words:
"de", "en", "mal", "un poco", "vamos!" and "basta!".
Then we used them in sentences to learn the days and the months; you can help your child by practicing the date: "la fecha de hoy", and with sentences like "hay siete dias en una semana: ..."
Hasta luego !
