Hola Familias -
The children are learning about the life of Cesar Chavez and pertinent vocabulary - his early childhood on a farm, moving to California and working in the fields and helping those who work in the fields to have bettter lives. His story provided the perfect opportunity to learn about farm animals, family members and fruits!
Hola Familias!
The children learned a fruit song to the tune of Happy Birthday - and tasted yummy coconut! They also enjoyed creating adorable miniature construction paper Easter baskets while learning all the pertinent vocabulary! Finally, we played an exciting game of Easter-themed outdoor four corners!
Have a wonderuful vacation and hopefully you received your Spanish Easter card! When we get back, we'll be be learning about Earth Day, Cesar Chavez, fruits and family members in Spanish!
