Our first day of a new Spanish year! And we started right away!
The kids shared a short story about a summer event, then we wrote it down, with a list of new words to learn. The objective is to build up a little dictionary throughout the year for them to rely upon.
We ended the class with a list of 6 important words that need to be learned by heart (preferably on flash cards). Those words are:
Qué ? / Porqué ? / Quién ? / Cuándo ? / Cómo ? / Dónde ?
Santa Cruz Public Library's website has a special page offering kids books to read online (for free). I'd like your child to regularly listen to such a story so that together we can talk about it on a Wednesday.
