Thanks to our list of first high-frequency words, our students can venture into reading some beginners' books. So today we read, copied and translated a book about Christmas, and others about numbers and fruits.
We also practice a beautiful song for next week's class; the last one before Christmas holiday.
It'd be nice if your child could practice that song over the week in order to be ready for our little celebration.

Back to our class after a short break, we started to read real Spanish books;
for beginners, but real books !!
In order to practice at home, the students made their own little books of short basic sentences.
After reviewing our high-frequency words, we worked on vocabulary.
They each walked out with some assignments to complete for next time and a booklet to read.
